Jorge's sculpture follows the same logic as his murals: take a human gesture or a single face and make it monumental, so it records a collective moment rather than an individual ego.

A 10-foot bronze created with Neurocrine Biosciences for the Monumental Moments program and installed outside Lincoln Center. It honors the resilience of people affected by the isolation of the COVID-19 pandemic, and was unveiled ahead of World Mental Health Day as a tribute to connection, support and touch.
A sculpture series made from rescued architectural materials up to 500 years old, including a portrait carved from a limestone pillar salvaged from a building slated for demolition.
Material memory, turned into form.

A monument to the Black and white citizens who voted Miami into being.

On July 28, 1896, the men of a small settlement on the Miami River gathered in a wood-framed building known as the Lobby and voted to make Miami a city. Of the 367 men who voted, 162 were Black, many of them Bahamian Americans. Black citizens cast roughly 44 percent of the ballots that created the city.
It is one of the least told parts of Miami's founding. The City of Miami commissioned this monument through its Art in Public Places program to honor that collaboration, and to give it a permanent place in the city's front yard.

The piece stands on Bayfront Park's central axis, which runs from Flagler Street toward Biscayne Bay, near the Dade County War Memorial and Isamu Noguchi's Slide Mantra. A stone plinth carries the history in bronze, and benches ring the base so visitors can stay with the story.
Materials and structure are chosen for a waterfront site exposed to salt air, heat, humidity and tropical storms: durable, safe and low maintenance for decades.
Management of civic, corporate and private commissions from first idea to final placement.
Matched to climate and permanence: bronze, stainless steel, stone, aluminum.
Structural engineering and wind-load design for South Florida conditions.
Built into the concept, with real people and real histories.
